Dating in western and developed countries is considered as an act of socializing. On the other hand in the conservative society of the orthodox who usually hail from the villages, dating is a taboo. Once a male or a female is seen in company of the opposite sex, all sort of gossips start.
These gossips spread like wild fire in the forest. So the first thing depends on your thoughts. You have to decide whether dating would be acceptable in your society or not. If you are sighted by some elders of your society would you dare to speak to them in public with your dating partner beside you.
Dating could be basically of two types, one with the permission of the elders at home and the other without the permission. This classification is important because it is possible that your parents may be sponsoring you or may be your are quite matured and earning quite well to be independent from your parents.
If your parents are broad minded and allow you to go out then it is very good but if your parents are narrow minded and orthodox it is possible that you may be inviting trouble especially financial crisis. If you are dating with someone and trying to keep it a secret then be sure no matter how much you try, it is never going to remain a secret, at least not from you. In the course of keeping this a secret it is possible that someone may try to take disadvantage of it and seek undue favors from you.
Dating with the permission of elders is something which can be one of the best moments of life. In this sort of situation none of the two is feared of anyone, are fearless and quite bold. The two are using the dating concept to know each other and using it as a preparation to marry and lead life jointly in the future.
While dating one should take the following precautions :
- Never say yes to blind dates.
- Never have a first date at a isolated place or in seclusion.
- Never reveal your true self if you are on the internet and trying to date someone.
- Ensure comfort
- If you are dating, keep a close friend of yours updated with it. Ask him or her to phone you regularly.
- Try to decide the bill payer. Usually it is the male but sometimes it could be paying individually for self.
